Studio Policies & Important Information

Please review the following policies before registering. These guidelines help us provide a safe, welcoming, and high-quality experience while ensuring fair access to classes for every student.

By purchasing or registering for a class, workshop, training, private session, party, space rental, or other offering, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the policies outlined below.

Studio Hours

Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola is open by appointment only. Advance registration is required for all classes, private sessions, parties, rentals, and other studio services.

The studio opens approximately 15 minutes before each scheduled class. Please confirm you have the correct address before arriving.

Registration & Class Confirmation

All classes require advance online registration. You must receive a confirmation by email or text before attending. If you do not receive a confirmation, you are not registered.

Minimum Enrollment: At least 2 students must be registered at least 2 hours before the scheduled class time. If the minimum is not met, the class will be automatically canceled.

If Vertical Pole Studio Cancels a Class

  • You will be notified by email.
  • Any class credit used will be returned to your class pass.
  • If applicable, your payment will be refunded to the card used for registration.

Please keep your account's email address and phone number current to receive important updates.

Waitlist Policy

When a class is full, you may join the waitlist. By joining, you confirm you fully intend to attend if a spot becomes available — even with short notice.

  • You will receive an automatic email and text notification if moved into the class.
  • Your account must include a valid email address and phone number.
  • Once added to the class, the regular 24-hour cancellation policy applies.
  • If you can no longer attend, remove yourself from the waitlist as soon as possible to avoid late-cancellation or no-show fees.

Arrival & Late Policy

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early, dressed and ready to begin at the scheduled class time.

For everyone's safety, students who arrive after class has started will not be permitted to participate. Late arrivals cannot transfer their reservation to another class and will not receive a refund or account credit.

Arriving on time allows you to receive essential safety instructions, participate in the warm-up, and avoid disrupting other students.

Cancellation Policy

Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola has a strict 24-hour cancellation policy.

Early Cancellation

More than 24 hours before class

Your class credit will be returned to your account for future use within its original expiration period.

Late Cancellation

Within 24 hours of class

  • Class credit will be forfeited.
  • $10 late-cancellation fee will be charged.

No-Show

Did not attend, did not cancel

  • Class credit will be forfeited.
  • $25 no-show fee will be charged.

Class and Package Extension Policy

This policy applies to single-class credits and class packages. It does not apply to specialty workshops, private sessions, parties, training programs, or class series.

Option 1: Purchase a New Class or Package

You may purchase a new class or class package at any time. Purchasing a new package does not reactivate or transfer unused credits from an expired package — any remaining expired credits will be forfeited.

Refunds & Transfers

All purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable, except when Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola cancels an offering and expressly provides a refund.

This includes:

  • Memberships
  • Class packages
  • Workshops and training programs
  • Private sessions
  • Private parties
  • Space rentals
  • Special events and other studio offerings

Please carefully review all dates, expiration periods, and studio policies before completing your purchase.

Safety Policies

Your safety is our highest priority.

  • All instructors are certified or qualified to teach their specific disciplines.
  • Students may not spot, coach, or instruct one another.
  • Follow all instructor cues, safety directions, and progressions.
  • Train at your current level and respect your body's limitations.
  • Crash mats are required during all Open Pole, Open Aerial, and practice sessions.
  • Students may only practice skills they have been formally taught.
  • Students must participate in the instructor-led warm-up before using studio equipment.
  • An instructor may modify or discontinue a student's participation when necessary for safety.

Our progressive curriculum is designed to help you develop strength, confidence, technique, and body awareness safely.

Studio Conduct

Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola is committed to maintaining a positive, inclusive, respectful, and empowering environment.

  • Treat instructors, staff, and fellow students with respect.
  • Keep phones silenced and do not take phone calls inside the studio.
  • Do not wear street shoes in designated training areas.
  • Respect personal boundaries and ask for consent before touching another person.
  • Follow all instructor and staff directions.
  • Help keep the studio and equipment clean and organized.

Bullying, harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, or intentionally invading another person's personal space will not be tolerated. Anyone who violates these standards may be asked to leave without a refund and may lose future studio privileges.

Photography, Filming & Social Media

During Class

Personal photography and filming are not permitted during regular classes. This policy protects student privacy, prevents distractions, and supports a safe learning environment.

Photos and videos may be taken:

  • Before or after class, with permission from everyone appearing in the content
  • During private sessions
  • During private parties
  • During approved space rentals
  • During designated Open Pole or Open Aerial practice sessions

Always obtain permission before photographing or recording another student, instructor, or staff member.

Studio Promotional Content

Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola may occasionally photograph or film classes for promotional purposes. When possible, we will announce that filming is taking place so students may step out of the recording area. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify the studio before attending.

Social Media Sharing

By publicly posting and tagging Vertical Pole Studio Pensacola in content created inside the studio, you grant us permission to repost or share that content with appropriate credit. If you do not want your content shared, please email contact@vpolestudiopns.com.

Food, Beverages & Alcohol

Permitted Inside the Studio

  • Bottled water
  • A small protein bar or healthy snack when medically or physically needed

All other food and beverages must remain outside the training area unless approved for a private event.

Alcohol and intoxicating substances are strictly prohibited before participating in any physical activity. Anyone who appears intoxicated or impaired will not be permitted to participate and will not receive a refund or class credit.

Space Rental Policy

Permitted Uses

  • Individual practice
  • Rehearsals
  • Personal, non-commercial photography or content creation

Not Permitted

  • Teaching or coaching others
  • Hosting paid sessions or events
  • Providing services to clients
  • Commercial activities without prior written approval

Rental Terms

  • The 24-hour cancellation policy applies to all rentals.
  • Rentals must be reserved by the full hour — half-hour rentals are not available.
  • Photoshoots, video projects, and commercial content must be approved and booked directly through contact@vpolestudiopns.com.
  • Renters must follow all studio safety, equipment, conduct, and cleanup requirements.

Violating the rental agreement may result in immediate termination of the rental without a refund.

Private Session Policy

Private sessions must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Sessions canceled within 24 hours will result in the loss of the session credit. Missed private sessions and late arrivals are non-refundable.

Private-party reservations are governed by separate booking and cancellation policies. Please review the policies listed on the Party Page before making a reservation.
