Struggling to bridge the gap between the pole and the floor? This beginner and intermediate class explores the transformation of turning movement into dance and embracing the floor instead of treating it like lava! By focusing on the fundamentals of floorwork, heel technique, and low flow transitions this class aims to build confidence in movement and fluidity, giving students the space to hone their craft and originality as a dancer.
Students can expect to spend time building combos and refining and perfecting fundamentals including, but not limited to, stripper pushup, leg waves and variations, shoulder rolls and stands.
Students should dress in appropriate dance wear: sweats or leggings often can be helpful to move around the floor, and shoulder rolls/stands are often easier when wearing sleeves. Students are encouraged to bring their heels, and it is required to bring knee pads.
