Pole Tricks & Combos | Levels 1 & 2

Heels Welcome

Ready to build beyond the basics? This class is designed for upper-beginner and intermediate students who have established foundational pole skills and are ready to develop more strength, control, fluidity, and confidence.

Each class may include:

  • Strength and conditioning on both sides of the body

  • Static and spin pole techniques

  • Spins, climbs, poses, and level-appropriate tricks

  • Short combinations that connect multiple skills

  • Floorwork, transitions, and movement around the base of the pole

  • Techniques for moving smoothly up, down, and around the pole

  • Progressions and modifications based on individual experience

  • Guidance on proper form, body positioning, points of contact, and safe technique

Because you already have foundational beginner skills, this class may progress at a quicker pace. However, every student is encouraged to honor their body and work at their own level. You never need to attempt a skill before you feel ready. Building strength, technique, and confidence takes time and rushing or skipping important progressions can increase the risk of injury.

Heels are welcome but never required. Students may complete the entire class barefoot or in socks.

Recommended experience: Students should be comfortable with foundational pole terminology, basic spins, transitions, and beginner-level conditioning. If you are unsure whether this class is appropriate for you, please contact the studio before registering.

BRING: Water, a hair tie, knee pads, socks, and pole heels if desired.

WEAR: A tank top or sports bra with form-fitting shorts to allow the skin contact needed for gripping the pole. Layers may be worn during warm-up and floorwork.

Please remove jewelry and avoid applying lotion or body oils on the day of class, as these may make the pole slippery.

Pole is a journey—not a race. Come ready to explore, train, challenge yourself, and celebrate your progress in a supportive environment.
